Ryan 1:1-10
Hello world! I have decided to dive into the cold, dark Bloggosphere. I have no romantic expectations for this, I just want to put down my thoughts. If no one reads it, fine. If a lot of people read it, I suppose that would be a little flattering, but that is not what my goal is. This is for me as much as it is for you, if you exist. If not then its all for me.
What am I doing here?
I want to discuss issues. I want to talk about life; about God. Not in the "flighty-luvy-duvy-romantic-ramblings-of-an-emo-child" sort of way, but in a way that is intelligent and willing to get dirty and make people uncomfortable. My goal is for this to be quasi-academic. I'm hoping the majority of my posts will be organized essays about specific topics within the realm of my interest (Theology, Philosophy, Psychology), with some occasional snippets of thought added in here and there. Ideally whis will the least academic post I make.
Disclaimer: This is not a "Christian" blog. While I consider myself a believer in God and want to follow Jesus with all my heart, don't expect sermons. I want to ask the hard questions, throw around some heresy, reject dogmas and doctrines. If faith cannot withstand this sort of scrutiny, then what good is it?

If all goes to plan, the first topic will be Homosexuality. Expect it sometime before Christmas. Beyond that, only God knows (or does he?).
